Fash-Cycle, is a technology powered solution to address the pressing issues of waste in the textile and fashion industry in South Africa. The current scenario is marked by rampant waste production, illegal dumping, and overflowing landfills. In addition, clothing consumption is projected to surge by 63% to 81% from 2018 to 2030, necessitating a shift towards more sustainable practices.

The textile and fashion industry's waste contributes significantly to pollution, with clothing items often masquerading as donations and ending up in dumpsites. Recognizing the urgency of the situation, we aim to create an app that promotes sustainable fashion practices and raises awareness of the magnitude of the problem.

Fash-Cycle is a textile and fashion recycling service designed to facilitate the donation, delivery, and pick-up of textile waste, channelling it to our factory for recycling and repurposing. The recycled materials are transformed into new clothing and other products, offered at discounted rates on our digital platforms. Additionally, excess items are donated to specific charities/initiatives through sustainable giving.
